Angela Walker is a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) with more than a decade of experience supporting individuals with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, & co-occurring mental health needs. She began her career in ABA in 2015 as a Registered Behavior Technician in Hawaii and has remained dedicated to the behavioral health field ever since. Before joining Berth Behavior Consultation, Angela worked with NC START, where they supported individuals ages six through adulthood offering crisis support, therapeutic activities, & advocacy. Her experience also includes traveling to Uganda with the Global Autism Project, where she collaborated with local professionals at an orphanage serving children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Her approach incorporates ABA and positive psychology, focusing on each person’s strengths, goals, independence, and overall quality of life. Angela earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from North Carolina Central University and a Master of Arts in Youth and Family Ministry. She completed her BCaBA coursework through the University of West Florida and is currently enrolled in coursework to meet the educational requirements to sit for the BCBA examination. Angela is passionate about providing compassionate, person-centered support and giving those she serves the tools and opportunities needed to live meaningful and fulfilling lives.
